The most prominent kind of company, usually referred to as a "corporation", is a "juristic person", i.e. it has separate legal personality, and those who invest money into the business generally have limited liability.

The Firm has experience in handling commercial and real estate transactions including negotiating and drafting documents for commercial and real estate transactions in excess of $13,000,000.00, foreclosures, drafting security instruments, and resolving title issues. The firm also represented the former NCNB Texas National Bank (predecessor to Bank of America) in connection with its management of the First Republic Bank portfolio, and other asset management contracts, which entailed handling a variety of commercial and real estate transactions.
